What We
Offer
01
Hysteroscopy
Hysteroscopy is a minimally invasive procedure that allows us to look inside the uterus to diagnose and treat conditions like abnormal bleeding, polyps, fibroids, or retained tissue.
At East Bay OBGYN, we offer both diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy, tailored to your specific situation.
Many hysteroscopies can be performed comfortably in the office with minimal downtime. For more complex procedures—such as removing larger fibroids or polyps—we use trusted outpatient surgery centers where you can expect expert care in a safe, efficient setting. We’ll guide you every step of the way to ensure your experience is smooth, informed, and focused on your well-being.
02
Endometrial Biopsy
An endometrial biopsy is a quick, in-office procedure used to sample the lining of the uterus. It helps us evaluate abnormal uterine bleeding, screen for precancerous changes, or monitor certain hormonal conditions.
At East Bay OBGYN, we perform endometrial biopsies with care and attention to your comfort. The procedure typically takes just a few minutes and requires little to no downtime. We’ll explain every step, discuss what to expect, and make sure your results are reviewed with you promptly and clearly.
03
Endometrial Ablation
If you struggle with heavy or prolonged periods that interfere with your daily life, endometrial ablation may be a safe and effective solution. At East Bay OBGYN, we offer Minerva endometrial ablation, a minimally invasive procedure that removes the uterine lining to dramatically reduce or stop menstrual bleeding.

Minerva is a quick, hormone-free treatment performed at an outpatient surgery center. Most patients experience significant relief with minimal downtime—and without the need for ongoing medications. It's an ideal option for women who are done with childbearing and want a long-term alternative to hysterectomy.
We’ll help you decide if Minerva is right for you based on your symptoms, goals, and medical history.
04
Pap Smear Changes
Abnormal Pap smear results are common and usually indicate changes in cervical cells that need closer evaluation—not cancer. At East Bay OBGYN, we follow evidence-based guidelines to ensure your health and peace of mind.

If your Pap smear shows abnormalities, we may recommend a colposcopy, a safe, in-office procedure that uses a special microscope to closely examine the cervix and identify any abnormal areas. During colposcopy, we can also perform biopsies as needed.

For treatment of certain precancerous changes, we offer LEEP (Loop Electrosurgical Excision Procedure), which is typically done comfortably in the office. More extensive procedures, such as cold knife conization (CKC), are performed at an outpatient surgery center to safely remove abnormal cervical tissue.
Our team is committed to compassionate care, clear communication, and guiding you through each step with personalized attention.
